United Nation Security Council (UNSC) is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, charged with the maintenance of international peace and security as well as accepting new members to the United Nations and approving any changes to its United Nations Charter. Its powers include the establishment of peacekeeping operations, the establishment of international sanctions, and the authorization of military action through Security Council resolutions; it is the only UN body with the authority to issue binding resolutions to member states.

“SITUATION IN NORTH KOREA”

 

The United Nations Security Council has adopted eight major sanctions resolutions on North Korea in response to the countrys nuclear and missile activities since 2006. None of them effectively stop the North Korea to hands down its nuclear weapon. On 29 November 2017 Following the latest ballistic missile launch by the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK), which its official media claimed is capable of striking the whole mainland of the United States. The US envoy to the UN has urged the Security Council to take the “strongest possible measures” against North Korea after its latest nuclear test. Furthermore, the escalating Situation in North Korean could cause a planetary catastrophe as most of the country in the world claimed. In the other hand, ramping up military hysteria in such conditions is senseless.
Delegate are required to engage in this situation, in order to eradicate the immense possibility of nuclear warfare with a peaceful way, or if it cannot be achieved, then the war cannot be inevitable.
