Nikolas Banzuela

Originating from the Philippines, Nikolas has been an active MUNer both within the Philippines and abroad. During the pandemic, he took this as an opportunity to venture out and learn from different MUN communities on other continents to slowly understand different MUN cultures and practices to give him a more well-rounded understanding of the global MUN community.

Chico Athalla

Chico Athalla is an avid MUNer who just can’t seem to let go of his love for UNSC. He is looking forward to seeing the intense debate surrounding the topic and is looking forward to meeting the delegates in Bandung!

Alghi Aufa

HEAD CHAIR UNICEF

Alghi is a final-year International Program student majoring in International Relations at the Islamic University of Indonesia. His academic focus includes human rights, human security, and gender studies. He was awarded for one-semester inbound mobility program at the University of Malaya and distinguished himself by completing an internship at Indonesia’s House of Regional Representatives. Additionally, his collaborative research with the lecturer and fellow students on the awareness of sexual violence among Indonesia’s youth community earned recognition as the 2nd Best Poster Presentation at the annual Japan Association for Human Security Studies (JAHSS) conference hosted by Kobe University last year. His passion for global affairs led him to engage extensively in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences since 2020. Over the past three years, Alghi has actively participated in over 50 MUNs, assuming diverse roles such as delegate, organizing committee member, speaker, mentor, and chair. His consistent dedication and exemplary performance garnered numerous awards and accolades both nationally and internationally. Alghi is eagerly anticipating his participation in the upcoming Bandung MUN 2024, where he looks forward to contributing his expertise and collaborating with fellow delegates. See you in Bandung

Jose Noel Syguia

Jose Noel “Joel” G. Syguia, also known as Joel, is an advocate of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), catalytic leaders, and godly character. He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of proActive VA careers, a United Nations-aligned social enterprise that addresses SDG #8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Joel competes in Model United Nations (MUNs) conferences internationally and garnered multiple awards. His favorite food is noodles of any kind. His catchphrase is “To global peace and prosperity…”

Renowned as the “Best Delegate striker” and a fighter among giants and goliaths in his era, Rendy returned to the circuit after a long hiatus. Other than becoming a consultant, Rendy is an active and prominent debate coach who has made his mark on both national and international debating circuit. With expertise in International Relations, anticipate a fun and highly substantive debate at this year’s UNHRC Bandung MUN!

Aziel Alpnsyah Ramadhan

CO-Chair of UNHCR

Aziel Alphasyah Ramadhan is a penultimate undergraduate student from Jenderal Soedirman University, majoring in international relations. Aside from his monthly agenda of participating in a MUN or debate competition, Aziel also explores his other interests in the public speaking and volunteering world. In this council, Aziel hopes that the delegate could have fun while giving a substantive performance to solve the pressing Rohingya refugee issues.
